Collector Notes:
Forte draws inspiration from light shifting across enormous sandstone walls of Zion National Park. Rich, rusty reds drip into deep umbers and violets, evoking formations that are millions of years old yet unfinished, continually altered by the forces of nature. Destruction is synonymous with creation as layers of pigment and sand mimic this dance of accumulation and decay. Sweeping strokes uplift while iridescent splatters dance around the canvas, inviting the viewer to step into its darkness and dance along.
